I have a few more projects to post, one of which is coming up tomorrow, but I wanted to make sure I plugged a product I really love before I forget.
No, they didn’t pay me to do this. Yes, I would accept free cherry-related items from this company if they’d shower me with them. I just want to share this product with you so you don’t have to bother with alternative, inferior options before arriving at this one.
I was lucky enough to never have to try another pitter before I landed on this one. It’s called a push button pitter and it’s the best one you can buy. It even says so on the label! I picked it up for $9 in Door County, and it costs $10.95 on Amazon right now.
Did you look at the link? Do you see what makes it so awesome? The best part about this pitter is that you can screw it onto a mason jar. Place the cherry below the pitter, punch, and move onto the next one. The waste stays in the jar for easy disposal. After pitting about 10 pounds of cherries, I can’t tell you how much time this saved me.
While some gadgets may not be worth the money, this is definitely worth the investment. One thing I noticed – the pitter got dyed by the cherries. If anyone has found a fix for this, let me know!
