This is going to be a post where I’m going to be a little hard on myself, but also honest with all of you. The pandemic has been quite the trip for me, as for many others. I feel fortunate that I’ve been busier than ever personally and professionally. The other way around would not be ideal. However, it means the grand plans I had for my blog and other personal projects keep having to be put on the back burner. That’s not great for me or the people who like to read my updates.
Stay tuned for the next 5 episodes to end out Season 1
I am determined to end out the year on a strong note. I’ll be publishing all of the episodes I have recorded before the end of the year. There are a few more that are already up if you subscribe to my podcast. I do like cross-posting here in case people don’t know where to find it. If you search “Dairy-Free State” anywhere you subscribe to podcasts, you will find it, I promise you! Apple Podcasts is a great place to start, I think? I use Pocket Casts myself.
Want to be a guest on my podcast?
I will be on the lookout for future guests and more topics. I’m interested to hear what you’ve taken out of this podcast. If you have notes about things you’ve liked or things you’d like to hear more about, please let me know! I may include some solo recordings as well in 2021. Some more exciting developments are coming in the new year so I would like to share them with you all in blog and podcast form.
This episode – I talk to my friend, Josh
Anyway, in this episode, I got to talk to my friend, Josh! When we recorded this over the summer, he was just starting out on his dairy-free journey (which was at the end of May 2020 – see, I told you I’m running so very behind!) We talk about the wonders of milk alternatives, including macadamia milk! And, of course, the new trendy standard, oat milk. An update on the vanilla hemp milk: Yes, it was very good in smoothies.
This was a different type of episode because it really felt like two friends just hanging out, since it was. I hope this turns out to be a nice bright spot in your day. And if you’d like to be featured on the show, shoot me an email – sammi@dairyfreestate.com.
