It’s been a while since I bought a Chia Pod at Whole Foods but I’m really glad I bought this one. All of the things I was unsure about with the vanilla flavor seemed to be rectified with the mango flavor.
The Mango Chia Pod is delicious and sweeter than the vanilla. I’m guessing it’s the same for all the fruit flavored ones, since the sugar comes only from the fruits, and the vanilla had nothing to add sugar to it. Like I said with the other one, it has a texture very similar to tapioca pudding. It’s a texture I like, but just to prepare you in case you’re not fond of that. The chia seeds do tend to stick and slide together, so it does take a little time to get the hang of eating it. Well worth it, because this one’s really tasty.
I’m hoping to try some more Chia Pod flavors soon. Is there one that’s your favorite?
