For 4 years in a row, we’ve taken a pontoon out for the holiday. In the last 2 years, we’ve had a cookout at our house, followed by fireworks. Every time we have people over, I like to try to make new things (plus lots of food), so this year, I thought I’d try to make a white sangria. It was really easy and tasty and works for big parties. What I put below was a halved recipe of what I ended up making, so it’s very easy to double or triple (or quadruple, I don’t judge)
Ingredients
- 1 large bottle white wine (moscato, pinot grigio, or other light/white bubbly will work well)
- 2 peaches, diced
- 2 apples, diced
- ½ cup Triple Sec
- 3 tbsp sugar
- Juice from 2 lemons
Add the lemon juice, sugar, and Triple Sec first and stir. Add in the fruit, and pour the wine over it. Make sure to serve the sangria with fruit in it – the boozy fruit is the best part!
