We had a lot of strawberries to work with this year, and I was happy to try a few new recipes in the process. We made strawberry sorbet and strawberry banana popsicles with the strawberries we didn’t use for canning (or just plain good eating.
I got these great popsicle molds a couple months ago by a company called Zoku. I don’t have anyone endorsing my blog and they aren’t paying me to say anything nice about them, but I sure would love some extra popsicle molds from this company if they happened to see this (yoo hoo, Zoku!). The molds are easy to use and come out clean. They also come in a lot of fun shapes like rocket ships and fish, but we just started with the plain popsicle molds. You can also get molds that you pre-freeze so that the popsicles are ready in minutes! What I’m trying to say is Zoku is the brand to go with for all your popsicle needs.
Anyway, I went with the easiest recipe I could find – it has 3 recipes: banana, strawberries, and juice.
You can find the recipe on Sally’s Baking Addiction. Basically, you blend the ingredients together and freeze. Can’t get simpler than that!
