Please check out my disclosure policy for more details!A few weeks ago, I picked up a 5 pound supply of blueberries from the lovely people at Tree-Ripe. I have plans to turn most of the supply into jam in the next week or so, but until that time, I had to freeze them to keep them nice and tasty.
There’s a really easy way to freeze blueberries in order to keep them from clumping. All you need is a cookie sheet (or 3-4 if you’re freezing as much as I did). Lay the blueberries out flat on a cookie sheet and put in the freezer. Take them out after a couple hours and then put into a freezer bag. They won’t all stick together to make measuring nice and easy.
This is great for portioning out for smoothie packs as well, or as nice dog treats. Our pup loves ice cubes and blueberries, and he went crazy over these. That’s it, just a quick tip to make your day a little easier!
