Recipe: Low FODMAP Vegan Sourdough Soft Pretzels
Low FODMAP eating gives the green light to sourdough, and I base almost all of my baking around it these days. I’ve found that wheat and gluten in general do not bother me, so if you’re eating Low FODMAP or for gut health and feel the same way, these pretzels should be no problem for you!

In Defense of Food: Getting Over Nutritionism
If you haven’t already, read my takeaways from Part I and Part II of Michael Pollan’s book, In Defense of Food. And buy it already.

Day 1 of my DietBet, or, The First Day of the Rest of My 28 Days.
It’s spring (I guess. I mean, it still doesn’t really feel like it around here). Bikini season isn’t that far away, and let’s face it, we could all stand to firm up or trim down or eat a little better now and again.

Recipe: World’s Best Lentil Veggie Burgers

Recipe: Vegan “Orange Velvet” Cupcakes
Sometimes, food doesn’t turn out the way you planned, but sometimes it’s not the worst thing in the world.

Review: Larabars
I have discovered the wonder of Larabars. I know what you’re thinking. You don’t want to hear about some other miracle protein bar packed with phoney baloney vitamins and nutrients. After all, isn’t that what I’ve been railing against on this blog?
Recipe: Mango Lassi
This recipe was inspired by my friend, Tom, who told me I should make mango lassi since mangoes are at their best this time of year. I ended up making a pretty light recipe, but you could replace some of the soy milk with a heavier coconut milk (I used So Delicious but you could […]
