By this point, your treats are definitely made, but here’s something I tried out this afternoon that I wanted to share with all of you. It’s quick and easy and would make a great springtime treat for any occasion.
Ingredients
- Chow mein noodles (10-12 oz bag)
- 2 12-oz. bags dairy-free chocolate chips
- ¼ cup sunbutter or peanut butter
- Jelly beans (you can get vegan ones here)
Directions
Microwave the chocolate chips and sunbutter/peanut butter in the microwave for a couple minutes. It took 2 ½ minutes for mine to be fully melted. Mix until smooth and spoon into a bowl filled with chow mein noodles.
Make sure the noodles are evenly covered and spoon small mounds of them onto wax paper. Form into nests and top with a few jelly beans for “eggs.”
This amount made 30 nests for me, but it’s all dependent on size.
What Easter treats did you have this weekend?
