We have been blessed two years in a row with a very abundant garden. With all the veggies we get from it, it’s hard to use them all, even when we give some away to friends.
The strawberry posts continue! We had a lot of strawberries to work with this year, and I was happy to try a few new recipes in the process. We made strawberry sorbet and strawberry banana popsicles with the strawberries we didn’t use for canning (or just plain good eating.
This year, we continued our summer tradition by picking two flats of strawberries. We used most of the strawberries for making jam (see my past post on canning for ideas of your own but saved the rest to make popsicles and sorbet.
